Rayita
Rayita is passionate about giants, creatures that, due to their nature, do not escape anyone's eyes and, at the same time, have difficulty “fitting into society”. The peculiarity of his work, which combines photography and illustration, earned him an exhibition at Tate Modern, in London, in 2016.
The work of this young Argentine artist is easily recognized by his “Giants”, giant, fun and colorful figures that come to life in real-life settings. Passionate about animation, Rayita seeks through his images to "destroy structures, connect with the world and respect the planet". “We can all relate to this because we are all these creatures,” he says.
Graduated in Design from the University of Buenos Aires, Rayita was born in Argentina and has lived in New York, New Zealand, Australia and Ireland. It has no specific artistic references. Rayita seeks to feed her inspiration by getting to know new places and people.
