Edgar Kanaykõ
Edgar Kanaykõ Xakriabá, belongs to the Xakriabá indigenous people in the State of Minas Gerais. He has a master's degree in Anthropology from UFMG. He operates freely in the area of Ethnophotography: “a means of recording aspects of culture - the life of a people”. In his lens, photography becomes a new “tool” of struggle, enabling the “other” to see what an indigenous people is from a different perspective.
