I have a degree in Fine Arts and rediscovered ceramics in the late 90s after years of dedicating myself to metal engraving and an academic career.
That's why I use the engravings I made on copper plates in clay. My pieces are all made on a lathe and I engrave them one by one, which makes them unique. This is my essence.
