Renot
Renot is the object of desire for important museums and private collections abroad. With works in countries such as Germany, the United States, England, France and Italy, the Bahian painter is a renowned name in Brazilian art.
The artist, a friend of the prestigious writer Jorge Amado, founded Galeria Manoel Querino, in Salvador, which hosted exhibitions by great national artists such as Di Cavalcanti, Djanira, Manabu Mabe and Antônio Bandeira.
Renot's work follows an abstract line and instinctively seeks to extract what is "most beautiful and sensual" in human nature, ranging from the fauna and vegetation of Recôncavo Baiano to popular festivals and large houses in Bahia. His colorful canvases are almost like embroidery with brushes. Renot, in addition to painting, is also known in the Arts scene for his tapestry works.
